The project is located within a private residence in the Panorama Giustinelli building. The concept originated from a dialogue with the client. Not being from Trieste, the idea was to create a kind of visual postcard that could describe the city through small details.
The compositional structure was conceived as a sort of zoom that moves from the detail to the landscape. Thus, the background subject is made of Karst stones, well-known and used in architecture, typical of the Karst plateau. The geometries, set against the background, suggest the cut of the stone and thus refer to architecture. The addition of gold leaf, besides emphasizing a harmonious relationship present in the geometry, serves to make the subject more precious. Completing the project are six small paintings. Three of these involve geometric proportions made on fragments of torn paper and framed in such a way that the glass mat allows the drawing to blend with the background.
Above these three paintings, there are another three. The two outer ones are details that refer to the sea, while the third is a small landscape, provided by the client as a cherished place in their memory.
