Je suis

The project involved creating the poster for Emmanuel Finkel’s documentary “Je suis.” The central theme is to depict the story and rehabilitation journey of people who have suffered brain damage and their attempt to regain normalcy or autonomy.

The image of the palm of a hand suggests the idea of one’s destiny. The labyrinth represents how a problem has disrupted this destiny, causing the subject to become lost and transforming the lines of fate into a maze. The house at the center signifies the possibility, or at least the hope, of returning to normalcy.
