Kibrot-Taava

Graphic
2011

The project, which later culminated in a publication, was inspired by a photographic exploration conducted within an eco-monument located along a coastal area. The framing of the images, characterized by a strong contrast of black and white, and the themes of complete abandonment and desolation, suggested the possibility of pairing the photos with biblical passages that recount desolation and destruction.

Following this research, several paintings were also produced to further investigate and delve into these same themes.
