Conversely, the murals introduce an element of cultural enrichment. The pathway leading to the elevator, which connects the hill’s summit with the downtown area and is popular among tourists, is adorned with a series of murals. These artworks segment the journey into illustrative scenes that capture distinctive city elements: a celebrated auto race, scenes from the old city, the vibrancy of port life, and the industrial rhythm of the shipyard.
