Pan Piper

The project was carried out in Paris, in the Pere Lachaise area. Its purpose was to define various areas of the building through painting interventions, housing a concert area, a restaurant, several exhibition rooms, and a small outdoor garden. Originally, this outdoor garden was a very gray area, marked by concrete walls with no external views. Therefore, the chosen motifs were plant elements with a strong chromatic impact. These were then deconstructed and modified before being depicted in sizes far larger than their real-life counterparts. This approach not only envelops the observer but also makes the space appear larger than it is.

The hall area features almost abstract subjects and graphic elements that play with the name of the place. A connecting element between the outdoor and indoor areas is the name itself. Through a perspective trick, from a specific viewpoint at the entrance, it creates the illusion that the external signage “enters” the indoor space.

Lastly, the concert area. Here, the subjects are once again nearly abstract organic forms, similar to those in the hall but with more vivid contrasts and darker tones due to the room’s characteristics.
