Once upon a time

This project is situated within the Panorama Giustinelli building. The aim was to create a distinctive atmosphere in the bedroom through a mural painting. The room is relatively small, and the resident is not from Trieste. Hence, a black-and-white theme was chosen to avoid visual overwhelm. A selection of historical photographs of Trieste was curated to offer the client a sort of “postcard” that narrates the city’s story. The final choice was a photo depicting one of the main squares during a busy moment. Initially appearing chaotic, the image ultimately conveys a dreamlike quality, with time seemingly frozen.
